JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 60 more children will have presents this year thanks to some Pingree-Buchanan School students.

The Jamestown Salvation Army reported Monday that some of the students took 60 Angel Tree tags from the community and purchased items from kids wish lists. Major Tim Nauta is with the Jamestown Salvation Army.

Major Nauta pointed out that the gifts are then bought and brought to the Jamestown Salvation Army, where they will then be distributed to the parents to wrap and give to their child for Christmas. Major Nauta reported that 60 tags were taken and filled by the Pingree-Buchanan students.

Nauta stated that over 100 Angel Tags are still open. The items will be distributed December 15th. You can find tags at two trees in the Buffalo Mall or contact the Jamestown Salvation Army for more information.
