N.D. (KFGO) – The FAA will investigate the cause of a single-engine plane crash that killed the pilot just south of Fargo.
North Dakota Highway Patrol Captain Brian Niewind says the crash happened around 4:30 pm Thursday. The plane was engulfed in flames and the pilot was dead by the time rescue crews arrived.
The plane had recently taken off from Hector International Airport and was heading south. The pilot was the only person on board. His name has not been released.
