N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The annual Holiday Dazzle Parade is back for its 13th year.
The annual parade features business, non-profits and resident’s floats that represent the spirit of the community. Jamestown Downtown Association President Lynn Lambrecht says the event started 13 years ago after a local businessman moved to Jamestown.
Lambrecht says the annual event continues to surprise the association with the amount of families that attend the parade as a tradition. She stated that the floats will start in McElroy Park and make their way down main street genning at 7:00 PM. New to the parade this year is a Grand Marshall.
The event returns to the Friday after Thanksgiving, after the Jamestown Downtown Association tried the Tuesday before. There are four categories that floats will be voted on and each category winner will receive a trophy and $100 prize.
The association is still looking for entries. You can e-mail jamestowndowntown@gmail.com or call 701-320-7217
