JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Parts of Southern North Dakota are expected to be hit with freezing rain and snow beginning Monday evening and into Tuesday.
The Bismarck National Weather Service reports that a storm system coming from the four corners area of the Southwest will bring freezing rain starting this evening and overnight. Meteorologist Janine Vining.
Vining tells Dave Thompson that the timing and actual track are uncertain, but hazardous driving conditions are expected.
Dickey County Emergency Manager Charlie Russell says residents and motorists should prepare for delayed travel.
“Prepare for the possibility of icy roads and sidewalks Monday night and Tuesday morning and plan for the possibility of delayed travel.”
