N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Regional Airport board members and staff set out with the goal of 10,000 passengers in 2016 and next week, they expect to reach that goal.
Airport Manager Samuel Seafeldt stated that the board had set out this year to reach 10,000 total revenue passengers at the airport. As of October 2016, the airport is at roughly 9,300 passengers for the entire year.
Seafeldt stated that hitting 10,000 total passengers would open the door to more funding that could be used for airport improvements.
In other airport news, the airport continues to finish up current improvements including their Jet Bridge project.
Seafeldt also pointed out that they are working on increasing terminal space and will begin their next wetland mitigation project in the spring of 2017.
