N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Figure Skating Club is looking at making it more accessible for more individuals to join and they are hosting their largest fundraiser to do so.

The club was started in the late 70’s and will be entering their 40th year in 2017. Judy Jorgenson is the Vice President of the skating club.

Right now, the club is holding a fundraiser that includes prizes like a brand new car or $500 in cash. Jorgenson says the group has done several fundraisers including their butter-braids and selling concessions in the past, but this is the first time they’ve done a large fundraiser like the this.

The club has made only 2,000 tickets available for this fundraiser and will draw the winners during their annual recital on December 4th. Contact Judy Jorgenson for more information at 701-320-7876.
