N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One person was injured following a two vehicle accident in rural Stutsman County Sunday morning.

Officials report that the accident occurred at the intersection of Stutsman County Road 43 and 89th Avenue Southeast at around 9:47 AM. Two vehicles were traveling east on County Road 43 when the lead vehicle began to slow for the intersection. The trailing vehicle rear-ended the lead car after following too closely.

The passenger in the trailing car was transported by ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. The crash remains under investigation.
