N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A rally for law enforcement was held at the state Capitol Sunday.
Several hundred people participated and organizer Kimberly Kruska was happy with the turnout.
Kruska says with officers working overtime to keep the peace at the Dakota Access Pipeline protest, this show of support is a good thing for morale.
Pat Dever has a son-in-law who is a deputy sheriff.
Congressman Kevin Cramer told the crowd people don’t express their gratitude to police often enough.
Law enforcement from around North Dakota – and from out of state – have helped Morton County during the protests.
