CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Barnes County deputies arrested Terry Houle of Walcott, North Dakota after they responded to a call of a suspicious person near Columbia Grain elevator west of Valley City on November 5th.
Sheriff Randy McClaflin said, witnesses told deputies that a was vehicle driving on the railroad tracks and then said a male was running around with no shirt on, carrying a baseball bat. The man allegedly took a skid steer from the elevator. When deputies arrived on scene the suspect fled on foot.
The 44 year-old Houle was arrested on 5 outstanding Richland County warrants for Child Support totaling $112,000.
The Barnes County State’s Attorney’s office said Houle faces several charges including refusing to halt- B Misdemeanor, Driving While License/Privilege is Suspended or Revoked-B Misdemeanor, Reckless Driving-B Misdemeanor, Failure to Register Motor Vehicle-Infraction and Driving Without Liability Insurance-Infraction. Houle is in the Barnes County Correctional Center in Valley City.
