N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Civic Center has been constantly full of voters today waiting to cast their ballots.

Stutsman County Auditor Casey Bradley stated that since the polls opened, it’s been a steady stream of individuals coming through the door to vote.

Bradley pointed out that during the June primary, a total of 4,700 ballots were cast. This election has already passed that, with preliminary numbers showing 6,741 total votes have been received so far including absentee and early voting. That’s roughly 33.3% of all Stutsman County voters as of 4:00 PM.

Bradley stated that there weren’t any issues at the voting center, but Pingree had some issues with their eBooks and Medina nearly ran out of ballots. He believes that the turnout was partly due to the presidential election, but also because of the large number of state and federal positions as well as the measures.

Final numbers will be posted tonight here on NewsDakota.com.
