JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A number of Stutsman County voters have taken advantage of early and absentee voting before the November 8th election.
According to the Stutsman County Auditors Office, as of Thursday, 1,926 residents in the county have voted. This accounts for 9.7% of all eligible voters. Stutsman County Auditor Casey Bradley stated that he expects anywhere between 80 to 90 percent of all voters to cast a ballot this year.
Of the early and absentee voters, a majority of them are ages 55 and older. Residents may still vote until 5 PM today at the Stutsman County Courthouse.
The 2016 election official vote day will be November 8th and will be held at the Jamestown Civic Center for Jamestown voters.
