 City, ND (Newsdakota.com)- After finishing their season Saturday with 13 runners taking part in the state meet in Jamestown The Valley City High School Cross Country Team handed out their end of the season awards Monday night.

Spirit – Sophia Boe, Keegan Couture

Most Improved – Avery Murray, Presley Curtis, Buddy Scherr

Most Dedicated – Eliza Schueneman, Buddy Scherr

Most Valuable – Courtney Lloyd, David Opdahl

No Excuses Award – Taylen Jorissen, Buddy Scherr, Owen Plagens, Eliza Schueneman

2017 Team Captains – Eliza Schueneman, Courtney Lloyd, Dakota Tahran
