(NewsDakota.com) – The Ellendale/Edgeley-Kulm football team picked up a big win on Saturday when they rolled past Park River/Fordville-Lankin in the opening round of the Class A football playoffs. The Thunder picked up a 48-22 win to move onto the second round.

The Aggies, lead by RB Jackson Hankey, had won back-to-back Class A football titles, but thanks to the Thunder we will have a new champion this year.

EEK will travel north to battle No. 1 Larimore in the quarterfinals on Saturday. The win gives the Thunder an 8-2 record.
