N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Early voting begins today in Stutsman County.

Residents will be allowed to vote from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday inside the Stutsman County Courthouse through November 4th. To vote, a person must be at least 18 years old on Election day, be a legal resident of North Dakota and be a resident of the precinct in which they’re voting for at least 30 days.

A voter must have photo ID including drivers license, non-driver ID, tribal government issued ID card or long-term care identifications. If residents don’t have the proper ID, they will be required to fill out a voter’s affidavit. The affidavit was brought back after a federal court granted an injunction that blocked the state from using a photo ID law passed by the state legislature.

Residents will be voting on 5 statewide measures, House of Representatives and Senate, governor, state house and senate, state auditor, North Dakota Supreme Court and U.S. President.

NewsDakota will post updates in Stutsman County early voting numbers and regular numbers periodically.
