N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for September 24th through October 6th.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther reports that the department had less calls for service during the time between September 24th and October 6th then they have had in the past. According to the report, only three calls of service were reported. You can find the dates, times and descriptions of each call below.

Call No. 227 October 8th, 8:26PM, fire department responded to 805 5th Ave NE, Parking Lot, to a report of a dumpster fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-undetermined. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 228 October 10th, 11:55PM, fire department responded to 219 7th Ave NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire in the stairwell. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-discarded smoking materials. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 229 October 13th, 1:04PM, ready squad responded to 325 17th St SE, City of Jamestown Water Plant, to check for carbon monoxide. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 30 minutes.
