CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) 28 year-old Brandon Elliott was convicted on 6 counts of Felony Burglary and Felony Theft of property charges and 4 counts of misdemeanor Theft of Property charges on October 4th in Southeast Judicial District court in Barnes County.

According to a Barnes County Sheriff’s office news release, Elliott was sentence to 3 years in prison with 146 days already served.

Meanwhile, 34 year-old Dieter Soetebier was convicted on a felony Theft of Property charge on September 13th.

According to a Barnes County Sheriff’s office news release Soetebier was sentenced to one year in prison with 43 days already served in the Barnes County jail.

The conviction stems from an arrest on July 28th after Soetebier had been fishing with a friend when he stole his friend’s pickup and boat trailer.
