N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge has planned their Big Sit for Sunday, October 9th.
The refuge, which is located 30 miles North of Jamestown in Pingree, features roughly 16,000 acres of land for wildlife. Here’s Wildlife Biologist Paulette Sherr.
The refuge will be holding their annual Big Sit on Sunday, October 9th. The event has been held since 2008 and will allow residents and birdwatcher alike to come out to their complex and watch for the many different species of birds that call North Dakota home.
Sherr pointed out that they will host the Big Sit from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM and the event is open to anyone who is interested. She also stated that it is for bird watching beginners, experts or those who just enjoy the outdoors.
