N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Fargo State Senator wants to change the state’s Constitution – to remove Jamestown as the location for the State Hospital.

Democrat Tim Mathern says there are mental health problems all across the state.

Mathern says it will not change the mission at the state Hospital, but rather it will just remove the location.

Mathern has been a proponent of more community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment.
