N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 52 year-old David Troske has pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder in a 2015 New Rockford wedding dance shooting.

Judge Thomas Merrick received the plea deal in Southeast District Court on Wednesday. Troske admitted to firing a single shot into the neck of Donnie Perleberg of Pingree, ND, killing him. He also admitted to shooting Mary Seiler of New Rockford. Seiler has since recovered.

A murder charge is a Class AA felony, punishable by life in prison without parole. An attempted murder charge is a Class A felony, punishable by 20 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

Court records show Troske’s sentencing is scheduled for 9:30 AM December 15th at the Eddy County Courthouse in New Rockford.
