N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Valley Health has been working on a project to create signage in Jamestown that promotes walking in the community. They’ve also partnered with Jamestown Tourism and their talking trails project.
Tami Dillman is with Central Valley Health and she stated that they’ve been working with Street Foreman Harold Sad and Jamestown Tourism in order to place the signage in the best places possible for the fitness route.
Currently, Jamestown Tourism is in a separate, yet similar endeavor as they place signage around Jamestown in their talking trails project. Street Foreman Harold Sad suggested that CVH take a similar approach with their fitness trail.
Dillman stated the only thing that they would need from the city would be help in placing some of the signs across the community.
Some featured stopping points include the St. James Basilica, North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame and Stutsman County Museum. The City Council unanimously approved of the project Tuesday.
Central Valley Health will now move forward with signage orders and integrating them within the community.
