CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Firefighters responded to a call at Vicky’s Viking Room Restaurant on Friday, September 23rd shortly after 10:10am.

The owner Terry Jones tells KOVC Radio news that smoke starting to come out of a light fixture in the basement of the restaurant.

Fire Chief Gary Retterath said there was a florescent fixture that started to pour out a lot of smoke in a mechanical room. No other damage was reported according to Retterath.

The building was evacuated as a precaution. No injuries reported and no fire was reported in this incident.
