(NewsDakota.com) Milnor-North Sargent senior quarterback Jacob Hanson had three passing touchdowns, and ran in for another as the Bulldogs cruised to a 39-6 victory in Oakes Friday night.
Up 7-0 in the first quarter, MNS (3-2, 1-1 Class B Region I) saw Hanson connect for a five yard score to Blake Nelson, and then register his rushing score from six yards out. With time running down in the second quarter, Hanson threw his second touchdown pass to Drew Asche to make the score 27-0 at intermission.
In the third quarter, Hanson added his other score; to Josh Martinson from eight yards out, and a TJ Johnson run from two yards away with a point after missed made it 39-0.
Oakes (0-5, 0-1) scored in the final seconds of regulation on a 10 yard touchdown pass from Coy Awender to Tyler Voightman.
