CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) More smiles today at Valley City State University as a record number of students are enrolled at VCSU for the fall semester.

University officials say the final count of 1,452 students is up 30 students from last year.
VCSU President Dr. Tisa Mason said it reflects the quality of education at the school. She said the university is not only attracting more students but also retaining more of them every year.

The university is also celebrating its 126th anniversary this year.
