N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center held their 6th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 17th at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds.
According to Angela Martini with the Arts Center, the turnout was for the event was fantastic.
“We had a great turn out. And everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. There was plenty of German style foods and 11 different Oktoberfest (Mårzen) beers to taste,” Martini stated. “The Hammerschlagen tournament and Wiener Dog races were a new addition this year and were a hit with the crowd. There were a lot more costumes this year that in previous years. Maybe next year we’ll add a “Best Costume” contest to the mix.”
