CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A few people in the community may be surprised to hear that the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center’s contribution to Food & Beverage dollars collected in the community annually has a significant impact.

North Dakota Winter Show Manager Dawn Riley told KOVC radio reporter Steve Urness that those Food & Beverage monies collected annually are used to help area businesses and to promote future economic development in the greater Valley City area.

Riley said in a recent interview that the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center has events that bring people to Valley City 11 months out of the year annually.

Riley said the upcoming North Dakota High School & Junior High School Rodeo will bring in more than 300 contestants and their families to Valley City during the two day event set for September 17th & 18th.

She said rodeo events will be held in the outdoor and indoor arenas of the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center.

The forecast for Saturday and Sunday in Valley City is sunny skies and 75 degrees.
