N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Engineer’s Office has announced several road closures in the city beginning today.

Starting this morning, the intersection of 14th Avenue & 16th Street Southwest will be closed to through traffic for utility work. 8th Street Southeast will also be partially closed for continued utility work.

Traffic and detour signage will be posted in each respective area as necessary and will be re-opened once construction work is completed. Road closures are contingent upon changing weather conditions.

Motorists and other traffic should use extreme caution in the area and consider alternative routes if possible.
