CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City State University President Dr. Tisa Mason and her staff are working out details concerning state budget cuts totaling nearly .6 million dollars on the VCSU campus.

Mason said a final decision on the VCSU budget cuts will be announced later this month. She said VCSU department heads have made their recommendation on the budget cuts mandate by Governor Dalrymple.

During an interview with reporter Steve Urness, Mason talked about the current budget cutting process and reminded the public that these cuts will not affect the new heating plant currently under construction on the VCSU campus.
