ND – (NewsDakota.com) Rainfall amounts varied from a trace in Fargo and Wahpeton to more than 4 inches in Jamestown and Grand Forks following a storm system that struck the area on September 4th and 5th.

Grand Forks National Weather Service forecaster Jim Kaiser gave a few rainfall amounts to reporter Steve Urness. He said an unstable weather pattern will continue this week.

Here are a few rainfall amounts reported around the region. Jamestown 2.48 to 4.07 inches and Grand Forks with 3.73 to 4.83 inches.

Other cities like Cooperstown reported 2.30 inches, Pillsbury 2.07, Hope 2.01, Finley 1.76, Dazey 1.73, Edgeley 1.59, Valley City .76 to 1.45 inches, Fingal and Marion reported .54 inches, Leonard .40, Lisbon .30 and Oakes with .15 while Fargo and Wahpeton had a only trace of rain.
