(NewsDakota.com) For the second time in five years, KDDR radio in Oakes has received Best Sports Play-By-Play honors from the North Dakota Broadcasters Association.

KDDR Radio took home the Teddy Award for Play-By-Play Thursday afternoon during the state broadcasters’ annual meeting in Bismarck. The station also earned a Merit Award in the Best Local News Talk category. Entries from all markets across the state, regardless of market size, were judged by members of the Maine Broadcasters Association in July.

Since 2012, KDDR has earned, or has been a part of receiving a total of 22 awards; which includes two other Teddy Awards, in addition to honors from the Midwest Broadcast Journalism Association and the Associated Press.
