N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – U.S. Senator John Hoeven continued his campaign Wednesday in Jamestown, bringing forward several topics and things he is working on currently in the senate.

Senator Hoeven is running for a second term at the national level and discussed what he would like to continue working on in D.C. He said his “fundamentals” were a main focus of his, referencing what he did as governor for 10 years in North Dakota.

Senator Hoeven discussed pro-growth tax reform, the removal of common core, and the new veterans program in North Dakota. He pointed out that the new veterans program would remove the third-party steps for vets to determine where they should get their healthcare taken care of.
