N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A first ever event had a fantastic turnout to raise funds for those who experience the loss of newborns.
Dr. Mandy Sorlie and her husband Dave, created the ANGELS fund to help those who have experienced the loss of a newborn. They teamed up with the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Foundation to host the first ever Golf “Fore” Angels event, which raised over $7,000 for the fund.
“We are thrilled with the success of our first GOLF “fore” ANGELS event. We would like to thank all of those that donated and came out to golf on the beautiful day and we hope to see everyone again next year,” said Dr. Mandy Sorlie.
Participants enjoyed golfing, unique auction items, luncheon and wine pull. The fund created in 2015 helps to defer the financial burden for families who have experienced the loss of an infant at the JRMC. The event brought in $7,000 for the ANGELS fund.
