N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 146 clubs of the Minnesotas-Dakotas district of Kiwanis named Amie Aesoph its youth protection manager.
Originally from Fergus Falls, Minn., Aesoph works at Dakota Growers in Carrington as the Recruiting Manager/Trainer. She’s been a member of Carrington Kiwanis for one year. Amie has three children and lives in Jamestown. She and her husband, Steven, also own InspireU, a fitness and fashion headband company.
Kiwanis is a service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children. Every year, Kiwanis members raise more than $100 million for service projects around the world. Almost all Kiwanis clubs do projects with youth. Kiwanis takes seriously the care entrusted to it when working with young people.
“If we want to be the premier provider of youth service clubs and programs, we need to hold ourselves and our fellow members to the highest standards of conduct and awareness,” Aesoph said.
Aesoph is responsible for youth protection for each Kiwanis club in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Kiwanis named Aesoph to this position at its district meeting in August.
