N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown will begin discussions of what proposal to move forward with regarding curbside recycling.
The City made the announcement that two proposals were received, one from Dakota Sanitation of Bismarck and Renaissance Recycling of Jamestown. Cost for the Dakota Sanitation proposal is $9.42 per residence per month, but drops to $6.88 per residence per month if apartment buildings are included.
Renaissance Recycling would cost $9.26 per residence per month, but again drops to $6.30 if apartments are included. The discussion of changes to the Sanitation Department, including a pay-as-you-throw system, will take place today at 3 PM at the Jamestown City Hall.
