N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Program awarded loans to four North Dakota Cities to help them maintain and improve water supplies.

The DWSRF Program is administered by the North Dakota Department of Health with funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The program offers below-market interest rate loans to political subdivisions for financing projects under the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Hebron, Jamestown, Maxbass and Aneta were all awarded funding for their respective projects which include new water mains, hydrants, reservoirs and pump stations.

Jamestown received a total of $1,996,000 for numerous projects including the replacement of 7,000 feet of deteriorated water main, hydrants, valves and corporation stops. $663,000 will be used to repair and reline the interior of a 1.5 million gallon water storage tower.
