N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is seeking a male suspect after a reported home invasion early Tuesday morning.

According to police, Walter Grant, Jr. is wanted in the home invasion incident. Police say Grant Jr. entered a home at around 6:15 AM and sexually assaulted a female victim. The female was able to break free of the suspects control and called 911. The male fled the residence and his current location is unknown.

Walter Grant Jr. is a registered high-risk sex offender and is wanted for questioning regarding this incident and other possible multiple sex offender registry violations. It’s unknown if Grant is in possession of any weapons at this time.

Grant Jr. is described as a Native American Male, 5’07” weighing 204 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. If he is located, notify Jamestown Police immediately at 701-252-1000 or 701-252-2414, but do not approach him.
