N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School District has laid out plans for future projects over the next 10 years.
The Jamestown Public School Board has been working with several architects to figure out what projects should be focused on in the future and which projects could wait. Superintendent Robert Lech stated that the architects have been assessing the schools for a while.
Lech stated that what the architects have found has allowed the board to create a list of projects that will need to be addressed within the next 10 years.
Lech reported that another architect from Wisconsin came in and assessed the schools and that he found Jamestown’s schools to be well maintained.
Lech stated that a good example of this plan would be the roofs on all the schools in the District.
Lech pointed out that the plan would focus on several items including asbestos and equipment. The plan is public information and available to anyone. You can contact Superintendent Lech at 701-252-1950.
