N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Five individuals were injured after being involved in a rollover 7 miles North of Drake earlier Saturday morning.

Sgt. Ryan Panasuk with the North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that Julio Perez-Medina was traveling north on Highway 14 with five passengers at around 11:28 AM Saturday morning. Perez-Medina swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway and then over-corrected, losing control and rolling in the east ditch.

All occupants, ranging from the ages of 27 to 53, were transported by ambulance or North Star Life Flight to Trinity Hospital in Minot with varied severity of injury. The driver was not injured. All names are being withheld to allow family contact to be made.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
