(NewsDakota.com) An Oakes man was injured after an air bag exploded while he was working on a semitrailer’s suspension system Monday afternoon.

Dickey County Sheriff Chris Estes says 49 year-old Warren Moe sustained injuries to his right arm and shoulder area after the air bag accidentally exploded around 4 p.m. Monday at Oakes Truck and Trailer, located on the corner of North Dakota Highways 1 and 11 on the south side of town.

Moe was transported to the Oakes Hospital for his injuries, which Estes says were not life threatening.
