N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has had a busy few weeks in the community according to the latest run report.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther reports that the department responded to roughly 21 calls for service in the last two weeks. You can read the full report with dates, times, and descriptions below.

Call No.152 July 15th, 6:21PM, fire department responded to 1506 Gardenette Drive #1, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-juvenile fire play. No injuries reported. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 153 July 16th, 5:34PM, ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, NDSH Tompkins Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-leaking water on detector head. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.

Call No. 154 July 18th, 3:57AM, ready squad responded to 715 3rd Ave SE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate smoke alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-power failure. Alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.
