N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Police are searching for a man who fled the scene after a traffic stop Tuesday evening.

According to Sgt. Brian Miller, the incident happened Tuesday evening just before 8:00 PM in the Northeast part of town. Sgt. Miller reports that a man fled from the vehicle during the stop. Authorities established a perimeter, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident. The identity of the suspect is possibly known, but Sgt. Miller states that the information will not be released as it could be detrimental to the case.
