N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota State Fair is underway today and they are doing something special this year to help out The Salvation Army of North Dakota.

On Monday, July 25th, fair admission will be one dollar off when you bring non-perishable food to donate. The fair’s food drive will benefit families all across the state. All food and money will be donated to the Salvation Army of North Dakota.

“This is a wonderful event and your small contribution can make a great impact and difference in our community,” explained Captain Randy Stahl, Minot Salvation Army administrator. “We’re so thankful for our partnership with the North Dakota State Fair and appreciate all of your help to make this event a success year after year.”

Several other locations will benefit from the drive as well including locations in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks and Jamestown.
