CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A Fargo man was struck by a semi on Interstate 94 about one mile west of Tower City around 2:45am this morning.

The Patrol says a Freightliner driven by Mike Tetlook of Saskatchewan was westbound on I-94. He says a pedestrian was walking in the right lane of westbound I-94. The driver swerved left to avoid the pedestrian. The semi struck the pedestrian.

22 year-old Mohamed Abdillahi was transported to a Fargo hospital with serious injuries. His condition has not been released.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by Barnes County Sheriff’s deputies and members of the Buffalo and rural Barnes County Fire and Rescue squad. The crash remains under investigation.
