FARGO,ND (NewsDakota.Com)Valley City Legion Post 60 rallied behind a strong pitching performance from Jesse Johnson to beat top seeded Grafton 5-1 in The East Divisional Tournament in West Fargo. Johnson tossed a complete game scattering 5 hits with 10 strikeouts. Post 60 scored 3 runs in the 1^st inning and added runs in the 6^th and 7^th. Grafton’s only run came in the 6^th.

Valley City had 9 hits. Dalton Ondracek, Jesse Johnson and Drew Oberlander were each 2-4. Oberlander drove in a pair of runs and Sam Jenson added an RBI. Post 60 plays again Thursday night at 7:30 against Devils Lake . The game will be on  KOVC and Newsdakota.com
