N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – South Central Human Service Center of Jamestown has opened service to those with immediate need.
According to SCHSC, Jamestown has become the third center to change how it provides mental health and addiction assessments. The North Dakota Department of Human Services has expanded the use of the center without appointments.
Dr. Dan Cramer is the Regional Director of the Jamestown location. He says this will allow the center to provide service more quickly to those in need.
Jamestown joins Minot and Williston in the new approach. Dr. Cramer says the hope with implementing this change at the center will be providing more service at a quicker rate and allowing more to get help.
South Central Human Service Center Region VI provides service to residents of Barnes, Dickey, Foster, Griggs, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, Stutsman, and Wells counties.
