ENGLEVALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The American Red Cross responded to a home fire early Monday morning in Englevale.
According to Regional Communications Officer Brian Shawn, volunteers responded to a home fire on 72nd Street Southeast near Englevale, 40 miles south of Valley City. The American Red Cross will assist the displaced family of two and their immediate needs.
Red Cross volunteers met with the family to provide help with lodging, food, clothing and toiletry items for two adults. The home is destroyed. Caseworkers will be following up in the coming days to assist with recovery planning.
