N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Post 25 hit three home runs, scored 19 runs and had 16 hits in two games on Friday night as they roll past the Harwood Hogs 7-3 and 12-1.  Carrington improves to 11-1 in the Central Region and 13-3-1, Post 297 drops 0-10 and 1-13 overall.

First game:  Carrington 7 Harwood 3

Alex Stusynski made his starting pitching debut for Post 25 and gets the complete game victory, with three runs and three hits, seven walks, three strikeouts and one hit batter.  Stusynski at the plate was 2-for-3 with a 2-run home run and three RBI.  Right Fielder Jayden Rosenau had two hits as well.  Tyler Veen took the loss for Post 297, Matt Olheiser was 2-for-3 with two singles.  

Second game:  Carrington 12 Harwood 1, 10-run rule in five innings

Stusynski hit his second home run of the night and Rosenau hit his first career home run to help Post 25 secure their ninth win in a row.  Both home runs were 2-run homers.  The winning pitcher was Jayden Shipman, taking the loss was Nick Miller.  Lead-off man Connor Wendel was 3-for-3 with two singles and a walk and hit by a pitch, he reached base all five times he was at the plate, scored twice and had two RBI.  Olheiser for Harwood was 3-for-3 with three singles.  

Next up for Post 25 will be Saturday, July 9th, in Enderlin for the Wood Bat Tourney.  Carrington will play Casselton at 1pm and play Enderlin right after.  Pregame coverage will start about 12:45pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
