N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Airport has reported another record-breaking month of boarding’s for June.

According to Manager Samuel Seafeldt, a total of 1,064 boarding’s were recorded during the month of June, topping last year’s total of 736 boarding’s.

Jamestown Regional Airport Authority Board Chairman Jim Boyd states that the growth can be attributed to support from the community and the services of SkyWest. He says right now, they are on track to reach an FAA funding goal.

“We are on track to reach an FAA funding goal of 10,000 revenue passengers during their fiscal year, needing 2,297 or an monthly average of 766 over the next 3 months.” Boyd reports.

Boyd says they are integrating an enclosed Passenger Boarding Bridge, which is about 2 months from completion. He says this will add comfort and safety to all passengers, especially those with disabilities.
