N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to a brush fire Monday night at the Jamestown Reservoir Island.
At around 8:30 PM Monday night, two units and four firefighters were called to the island for a reported brush fire. The fire was put out within minutes and crews were only on the scene for about 25 minutes. No injuries were reported.
Fire Chief Ben Maulding says the probable cause was fireworks.
