N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Cass County Sheriff’s office says a deputy is facing drunken driving charges in Barnes County.

Sergeant Tim Briggeman says Deputy Jesse Barbot was arrested about two weeks ago by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Court documents say Barbot was charged with misdemeanor DUI on June 20th and posted a $500 bond.

Briggeman says Barbot is assigned to the jail and will remain on active status pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
