N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Not many calls for the Jamestown Fire Department during the week of June 25th through the 30th.

According to Fire Chief Jim Reuther, the department had three total calls through the week. The calls included fire alarm activation and gas odor checks. You can find the full report below.

Since the beginning of the year, there have been a total of 140 calls for service. In 2015, 296 calls were put in for the department.

Call No. 138 June 27th, 11:43AM, ready squad responded to East Side Trailer Park #15 SE, to investigate gas odor. Firefighters checked the interior and exterior of the structure. Cause-unknown. Occupant was advised to contact Montana Dakota Utilities to have them check gas appliances. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 139 June 28th, 6:38PM, ready squad responded to 1300 2nd Place NE, Eventide, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 140 June 29th, 10:35PM, ready squad responded to 1738 5th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 70 ppm was detected. Occupant was advised to have their gas fire appliances checked by a quailed firm or individual. Cause-water heater. Time out 55 minutes.
